In life, a young man named Robert Robinson worked in the book-keeping department at a small but growing corporation that produced and sold inexpensive but quality bedding. It was a boring job, but it paid him well, giving him enough money to keep food on the table and support his favorite hobby - reading really cheesy horror novels. He just couldn't get enough of them.

One day, however, disaster struck, and he died in a freak accident involving a hair comb and a piece of litmus paper, though to this day no one's quite sure how to explain what happened. Saddened that he couldn't finish the new novel he'd just picked up the other day, he decided to walk the earth and, to those who could see him, spread the cheesy horror he loved so much.

And that is how Bob from Accounting became a terrible ghost that haunts bedsheets and tries to scare people by using overused tropes from cliché horror novels.

Or at least, that's the story one Gastly might tell, if you give him a bedsheet and an unwilling host. :)

Though, for the fourth wall events that would involve this account, he doesn't need the host.
